「あーんぶれら」は、川沿いにひっそりと佇む小さな工房「かさじいの工房」を舞台にした、傘たちの物語です。強い風にさらわれたり、持ち主とはぐれたりして、あちこちを漂った末にこの工房へたどり着いた傘たちを、老職人・かさじいがやさしく修理し、迎え入れます。傘には声はありませんが、たしかな気持ちがあり、持ち主のことをそっと想いながら、日々雨や日差しを受け続けています。第１話の主人公は、祖母から母へ、母から娘へと受け継がれてきた黄色い傘「あーんぶれら」。大切な人の手を離れ、思いがけない旅の末にかさじいの工房へたどり着くところから物語は始まります。雨の日を「めんどうな日」から「たのしい日」に変えてくれる、心あたたまる全52話予定のシリーズです。ぜひ、あーんぶれらたちの物語をお楽しみください。

Aanburera is a story about umbrellas, set in a small workshop by the river called "Kasajii's Workshop." Umbrellas that have been swept away by strong winds or separated from their owners drift from place to place until they find their way to this workshop, where an old craftsman named Kasajii gently repairs them and welcomes them in. Umbrellas have no voice, but they do have feelings — quietly thinking of their owners as they shelter them from rain and sun, day after day. The hero of Episode 1 is a yellow umbrella named Aanburera, passed down from grandmother to mother, and mother to daughter. The story begins when it slips from a loved one's hand and, after an unexpected journey, arrives at Kasajii's workshop. This is a heartwarming series, planned for 52 episodes in all, that turns a rainy day from something bothersome into something to look forward to.
